My lesson experience as a kid ended up with me quitting lessons, let me explain.

For years, I took lessons, privately, one-on-one. I remember how initially I was excited to learn guitar, but had no idea the amount of work and time it would actually take to “learn” or “achieve” the skills in the songs I wanted to play.

Unfortunately, I often asleep fell asleep in lessons because they were boring, which lead to much slower progress. I was never confident of my skill level nor had the means to track/see my progress at any point. My instructor handed me a piece of paper, said, “practice this at home”. Unfortunately, this is the common in traditional music lessons.

Over time, I felt forced to do something I wanted to love. So no wonder I quit. Yes, I did!

I wish I had known what I know now as a guitar instructor and music educator.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve discovered a way to help students learn and progress on guitar 2-4 times faster than what I had achieved in over 7 years of lessons.

How Kids Can Learn Music 2-4 Times As Fast

Miles, started brand new in our program (Seated, playing red guitar in back):

What Miles has been able to achieve in over 3 years literally took me over 7+ years. How is this possible?

The Guitar Accelerator Program

Guitar Lessons in Everett

Through The Music Circle's Guitar Accelerator Program, our students progress on guitar 2-4 times faster than the average student. Our lessons are designed for kids ages 8 and up who want to learn guitar, build confidence, and play real songs that they actually recognize.

Unlike traditional lessons, students are trained in classes on specific skills that connect with real songs at the same time, helping them stay motivated by making steady, measurable progress. These are relaxed, fun music classes for Kids.

What Your Child Will Learn:

  • Guitar fundamentals: how to hold, position, tune, and operate an Acoustic or Electric Guitar

  • Essential skills: Technique, Rhythm, Strumming, and Chords

  • How to play popular songs they recognize

  • How to practice at home

  • How to play along with recordings and other students

  • The skills needed to learn their favorite songs

Many students are able to learn songs on their own within their first 6 months of training!

What's Included:

Weekly Group Classes

Students attend a weekly class where they learn new skills, practice with guidance, and receive personalized feedback from our instructors. Whether your child is interested in Acoustic or Electric guitar, we provide specific help for each.

Because students understand both what to practice and how to practice, many become driven to practice on their own.

Progress Tracking

Students follow a clear skill-based curriculum, with measurable milestones.

Parents can easily see their child's progress as they advance through each level and develop new skills.

Real Songs From Day One

Students learn through music they recognize and enjoy. By applying new skills to real songs right away, lessons become more engaging and meaningful.

Each class also includes opportunities to play with other students and perform along with actual recordings.

Support Along the Way

We don't want students feeling stuck between classes.

If questions come up, our team is available by phone or email to provide guidance and help keep students moving forward.

The Result

Our goal is simple: help students build real musical skills, gain confidence, and develop a lifelong love of playing guitar.
